Seaforth Community Hospital - Seaforth, ON
The Seaforth Community Hospital 1 Bench 1 Tree installation was completed on October 14, 2022 by Silver Creek Landscaping of Seaforth and Verbeek’s Farm and Garden Centre of Clinton. We are thankful for these two contractors for taking the time to complete the installation of this site, and the Clinton Hospital site as well to complete the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance 1 Bench 1 Tree installations!
Seaforth Community Hospital, along with three other hospitals, is a volunteer collective under the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA). The HPHA was established in 2003 to provide Acute and Community-level care to the area. HPHA employs over 1,100 staff members as well as 500 volunteers and patient partners. The Alliance is an organization born out of change; one that embraces the potential of partnerships; harnesses the power of performance, and values the skills and guidance of our people – patients, families and caregivers included. That’s how we remain at the forefront of care – thriving in a changing environment, pushing the envelope, and committed to the well-being of our patients. HPHA is also a proud part of the Huron-Perth and Area - Ontario Health Team - which aims to allow patients to receive all their care, including Primary Care, Emergency Care, and Mental Health, from one team.
Seaforth's Main Street was designated in 1984 as a Heritage Conservation District because of its distinguished late 19th-century architecture. The composition of two-storey brick buildings is unique in their uniformity of scale and character. Through grants and local support, property owners have been encouraged to restore and preserve the architectural characteristics of their buildings so that this valuable resource may continue to be an asset to the community in the years ahead, and be a comforting reminder of Seaforth's history.
